Stefanie & Jeremy got married in Philadelphia, PA at Platform Thirty Jeremy and Stef met during the summer of 2013 as volunteer running leaders and mentors for the organization Students Run Philly Style. They both really like running marathons and running different places (especially Disney World!)
Jeremy organized a surprise proposal in front of the castle at Walt Disney World. Stef and Jeremy went on an awkward first "maybe it's a date" to a Philadelphia Union Game. It was definitely a date because one of Jeremy's students caught them at the Penrose Diner after the game and posted a picture of them on Twitter with the caption "Jeremy's on a date".
Jeremy and Stef made sure to host a wedding for their friends that spoke to their interests of who they are as a couple including their love of Disney, Star Wars, Running, Waffles, and the Philadelphia Union. Table numbers were lasered and designed by Stef's co-worker and they all reflected pieces of Stef and Jeremy and their guests. Stef provided her bridesmaids with running shoes from Philadelphia Runner. Jeremy arranged for multiple surprises during the wedding including inflatable instruments and personalized Union jerseys with Bride and Groom (which is probably the reason the Union won 7-0 that night!). Stef surprised Jeremy with indoor fireworks speaking to their love of really fun moments. Guests were treated to a 90s playlist and a waffle bar. At the night's end, they were thrilled to start their marriage with what they love doing the most- making sure people feel loved, appreciated, and showing them a great time.
Stefanie and Jeremy were an extremely fun couple everyone knows that no matter what there is something that goes wrong on a wedding day and it seems like no matter how big is small the issue was they just rolled with it in stride. They made my job as a wedding photographer super easy because they were willing to walk where ever to get the shot even though it was a hot summer day in July.
To Stefanie and Jeremy, our time may be over and though I am sad, my time working with you both has been truly amazing from our first meeting over zoom to discuss your wedding and what you are looking for, to the day we met face to face at your engagement shoot. I can't wait till our paths cross again maybe just wondering about the city or attending one of your runs on a random day. Either way, I want to say it has been a pleasure and I will enjoy watching your love blossom over the years via social media.
