Ideal Engagement photos in Philadelphia and surrounding areas

Engagement photos locations near you….

Planning an engagement photo session can be difficult. Have you ever been asked by a photographer if you have a location in mind, but find yourself unsure or overwhelmed? Well, look no further. I’m going to give you some of the best locations in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas from most commonly used to most intimate.

Broad & Sansom/Ritz Carlton -Nothing says Philadelphia like this City Hall backdrop shot. This has become one of the iconic shots for weddings and engagement shoots because of its perfect lighting almost any time of the day, as well as its view of City Hall. You and your partner will feel like celebrities as we capture photos here while cars drive by honking and cheering. Overall, you and your partner will even get some people that yell out congratulations. We are the city of brotherly love, after all!

Art Museum - I know you and your partner are not shooting a rocky movie, but behind the art museum are some hidden gems. Between the Promenade & Gazebo and Azalea Garden, we can capture some beautiful, intimate shoots. Since this location does get hit by the sun in the middle of the day, I would suggest shooting either early in the morning or closer to golden hour.

Race Street Pier - From the beautiful Ben Franklin Bridge to the cooling breeze from the Delaware River, Race Street Pier is the spot to go. The sun bounces off the bridge, and the breeze sets the perfect vibe for an intimate and ethereal shoot. It is one of my favorite spots to shoot a session. It is also in the middle of the pack as far as how busy it can be because it is more of a relaxing area. The only disadvantage is the number of people who may be taking photographs at the same time.

Fonthill Castle - If you are in search of a beautiful backdrop, which also happens to be filled with glowing sunflowers, this is the place for you. Font hill Castle takes your engagement photos to another level with its vintage, yet modern look and feel. On most days, there is not a crowd, so you don’t have to worry about a lot of people being in the surrounding areas while we take photos.

Tyler State Park - Another excellent location can be found at Tyler State Park. Here, we have 1,711 acres of free space to create a personalized and creative shoot. From its super green trees to the available open space, there are plenty of options for your shoot.

If any of the above locations interest you and your partner, click below to secure your date and time. We look forward to creating magic and celebration alongside you.
